Thanks Greg, I've been sticking to a weekly schedule this year and, although the releases aren't always on a consistent day, I usually aim for Tuesday.

I dipped my toe into releasing more than one strip a week with the "Tornado Face" and "Peaches" story arcs. They were well received and a lot of people are now telling me they want to see more consistent and frequent releases.

My plan now is to finish off a few more big projects here at the office and then try stepping up to a more firm 2 or 3 day a week schedule.

For some reason I can't explain, I really liked this one. As far as the shadows or color, I don't think it makes the comic any funnier but perhaps it is more engaging. I think the most important element in building readership is to post on a schedule. So a small brained person like me could think, "Hey, it's Monday morning. That sucks but I could look at the latest AK Robotics comic. Maybe Mondays don't suck quite so much..." Anyway, if you can do color and blended shadows every week - Cool. But if you have to stretch the schedule out and posting becomes erratic, well... you'll lose all but the most faithful audience.

Thanks to Cayleigh, this was mostly her idea. It was inspired by the giant pickles for sale at Blockbuster in hermetically sealed pouches filled with day-glow pickle juice.

What do we think of soft shadows versus the normal hard shadows?

Anyone else want to weigh in on color versus black and white? I can draw more b/w strips in a week but I really like the color ones.
